The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Warriors Group
From the very beginning of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with rich lore, a diverse cast of heroes, and a thrilling plot including celestial beings, evil spirits, and sinister influences increasing in strength within Dol-Makjar.
Warning: Revealing details for the latest installment of this adventure lie ahead.
The Combat-Oriented Party Unveiled
Episode 3 concluded with a huge suspense moment and presented the initial group of heroes who will split off from the main group to begin their separate journey, apart from the remaining groups.
The combat-focused team features Teor (brought to life by Travis Willingham), Thimble (Laura Bailey), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (the player), and Kattigan (Robbie Daymond).
Dividing the Cast
Given 13 cast members, it was obvious from the outset that maintaining everyone at the same party would be impossible.
That’s why, the first four episodes of this story serve as an Prelude, intertwining the individual narratives before splitting into three distinct groups: Fighters, Schemers, and Seekers.
Characteristics of the Warrior Group
According to the DM, the warrior group is for participants who enjoy a traditionally charged combat and conflict-driven narrative style where peaceful solutions are rare.
At first glance, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander Halovar might seem mismatched, but the events of the third episode show why these five characters are perfectly fit for the Soldiers table.
Reasons to Leave
First, the group understands precisely where to head next after a brutal opening clash with The Crow Keepers.
A former ally of the deceased character—whose death started the story’s plot—manipulated The Crow Keepers for his personal gain, breaking into the secret base, assaulting the character, and stealing all the magical artifacts to dispose of.
The antagonist then cleared his obligations and escaped to a Halovar stronghouse in the northern region, north of the urban center, with Cyd hot on his heels.
Character Drivers
Additionally, each adventurer has a individual motive to depart Dol-Makjar:
- Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, desires retribution.
- The adventurer is familiar with Timmony and advises that it is a dangerous place.
- Tyranny and The healer, having resisted his relatives’ demands to kill the target and instead saved him, have no other options.
- Yet, their status as prominent individuals in the influential clan could help the group access areas they typically wouldn’t be able to.
- Additionally, Teor pledged a unbreakable promise to Wicander for his rescue and will now follow him wherever.
Pursued by Authorities
Finally, all of them are sought by the authorities that control the city for a variety of reasons, making lingering locally no longer safe:
- Thimble and Kattigan are notorious outlaws.
- The strong figure and Wicander turned against House Halovar and the legion of demons they are allied with.
- Teor is wanted dead by the clan.
This leaves them few options but to journey toward Timmony in search of the traitor.
